|On Monday, January 1, 2001 Guy Mulford died of an apparent heart attack. He will be sorely missed.|
Chuck Dingée (vocals, guitar & flute) and Guy Mulford (violin, guitar, keyboards & vocals) have been creating music together since the 1980s. They formed the Haole Boys in Bellingham, WA, in 1993, after taking separate musical journeys to Florida, Pennsylvania and throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Today they are working with drummer Ranger Kidwell-Ross. The music they make is their own unique MelloFolkCountrySpaceRock. This includes original compositions, as well as covers by the Beatles, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Jonathan Edwards, Michael Franks, Frank Zappa, Harry Nilsson and many others.
The Haole Boys don't live in Hawaii.
They like Hawaiian music but they don't play it (except for one parody that explains their band name).
They are not Hawaiian.
They live in Bellingham, WA.
The Haole Boys last appeared at a benefit concert for the Sean humphrey House in December 2000.
